What is Resonant Sound Wellness (RSW)?

One of the foundational principles is that every part of the body, from organs to cells, has a resonant frequency. In other words, every organ or cell has a unique vibration.  When exposed to a certain sound frequency, these parts of the body can be stimulated promoting balance and harmony within the body. RSW encompasses various practices that leverage sound vibrations for healing, relaxation, and overall well-being of the mind, body, and soul.

Kelly offers various types of experiences whether in a private studio, in your own home, in local community settings, or even on the farm with horses.

Participants experience a sound journey, most commonly offered in individual or group sessions. A Sound journey is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience. The experience begins with each person lying down, relaxed and eyes closed. With intention, Kelly plays sounds to invite gentle therapeutic and restorative processes in the mind and body.

What are the benefits?

One of the key principles of sound healing is resonance – the natural tendency of an object to vibrate at a specific frequency. Every part of the body, from organs to cells, has its resonant frequency. When exposed to certain sound frequencies, these parts can be stimulated, promoting balance and harmony within the body.


Kelly uses a variety of instruments in her sessions, including crystal singing bowls, wind chimes, ocean drum, rainsticks, Solfeggio tuning forks, and more.
When you listen into a sound journey you allow your brain waves to slow down, shifting from an active brainwave state to a relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state.


Sound healing helps us to change our state of being and can:

  • reduce stress

  • reduce anxiety

  • reduce pain and inflammation

  • harmonize the energy centers of the body

  • provide emotional release

  • clear energetic and emotional blockages

  • lower blood pressure

  • boost the immune system

  • quiet the mind

  • regulate the nervous system

  • improve mood

Is a sound bath the same as a sound journey?

Yes, you will hear these terms used interchangeably in this industry. 

What can I expect to feel?

This varies from person to person. You might feel sensations in your body, certain parts of your body feel stimulated or "lit up." You could feel brain tingles, goosebumps, or chills when certain sounds are emitted. Some people report feeling certain emotions that bubble up to the surface. Others fall into a deep trance, or into a deep slumber. Some feel nothing at all.

What happens in a Sound Journey?

All you need to do is lie or sit back, relax, and allow yourself to experience the sensations from the sounds! It is ideal to stay present, awake, and aware of any feelings that come up in the moment, but it's also normal if you fall asleep.

Do I need to do anything during a Sound Bath?

There is nothing for you to do other than be open to whatever experience you are meant to receive. I always invite participants/clients to be open and curious. If you are unsure, doubtful, or resistant then it can impact the experience and session. 

Is it normal if I fall asleep?

Yes, many clients fall asleep. The sound creates a deep relaxation in the mind and body and it’s not uncommon for participants to slip into a deep sleep state. A common comment we often hear is that participants feel weightless.
